SEASON-3

IRIS MARTIN is 8 years old and loves to draw. She started Drawing and Painting quite regularly around the age of 3. With each year, her drawings became more and more detailed. She was not interested in colouring books or anything where she could not use her own imagination to create an image. Around age 7 she started writing and illustrating her own little books, "Violet Finds A Creature", "Kitten and the Owls", "Tokyo and the Magic Moth", to name a few. Her ability to carry through with a storyline and the repetitive drawing of the characters felt quite unusual. It seemed not a day would go by where she was not drawing.

Iris takes her pen and paper wherever she goes... to the river, camping, in the car etc. It seems to be a great comfort for her to have access to her notebook and pens at all times. People often ask Iris if she wants to be an artist when she grows up; she always answers, "I already am an artist.”
